SHIPMENT ACCEPTANCE CONDITIONS
(Conditions governing the acceptance and handling of shipments at the Prague acceptance point)
Acceptance point and carrier
CETRAS ENT. s.r.o., with its registered office at U Sluncové 71/14, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic, operates the acceptance and collection point for shipments in Prague.
The transport of shipments is performed by the carrier KORONA TRAVEL, with its registered office at 65 Lagoumitzi Street, Athens, Greece.
CETRAS ENT. s.r.o. does not provide transport services and does not act as the carrier of the shipment.
Nature and scope of these conditions
These Shipment Acceptance Conditions govern only the acceptance, basic handling, administration and release of shipments at the acceptance point.
They do not constitute transport conditions, conditions of carriage, or a transport contract.
The transport itself is governed exclusively by the carrier’s own terms and conditions.
Acceptance of shipments
Shipments may be accepted:
- in person at the acceptance point,
- via courier service,
- or based on a prior written order (e-mail or online form).
By submitting a shipment for acceptance and/or making payment, the sender confirms acceptance of these Shipment Acceptance Conditions.
Responsibility for contents
The sender bears full responsibility for the contents of the shipment.
Neither CETRAS ENT. s.r.o. nor the carrier:
- verifies or inspects the contents of the shipment,
- checks compliance of the contents with applicable laws,
- guarantees the nature, condition, legality or suitability of the contents for transport.
Prohibited items
The shipment must not contain, in particular:
- illegal substances or drugs,
- weapons, ammunition or explosives,
- hazardous, flammable, corrosive or toxic materials,
- cash, banknotes, securities or other monetary instruments,
- valuables, jewellery, precious metals or stones,
- perishable goods,
- items prohibited by applicable law or regulations.
If prohibited items are discovered, the shipment may be refused, withheld, handed over to the relevant authorities or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law.
Packaging and condition of shipments
Shipments must be adequately packed to withstand normal handling and transport conditions.
Soft, non-rigid or atypical packaging (including foil-wrapped items) is accepted at the sender’s risk.
Oversized, irregular or unusually shaped items may be subject to individual handling or acceptance conditions.
Pricing and payment
Prices for the transport service may be determined:
- by weight,
- according to a price list,
- or individually.
Payment may be required in advance or may be payable upon collection at the destination.
If payment is collected by CETRAS ENT. s.r.o., it is collected on behalf of the carrier.
Any payment confirmation issued by CETRAS ENT. s.r.o. serves as a confirmation of payment only and is not a tax document.
Tax invoices, if required, are issued exclusively by the carrier.
Release and collection at destination
Shipments are released at the destination office to:
- the recipient,
- or a person authorised by the recipient,
typically against a release PIN or other agreed form of identification.
Liability
CETRAS ENT. s.r.o. is not responsible for:
- the performance of transport,
- delays during transport,
- loss of or damage to shipments occurring during transport,
- indirect or consequential damages.
Any claims related to the transport service must be addressed directly to the carrier.
Applicable law
These Shipment Acceptance Conditions are governed by the laws applicable at the place of acceptance of the shipment.
Final acknowledgement
By submitting a shipment for acceptance and/or making payment, the sender acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these Shipment Acceptance Conditions.
